Belmont Abbey College has several multimedia classrooms that are accessible to students, faculty and staff. A multi-media classroom has a networked computer, mounted projector, speakers, and a projector screen. Classrooms with an * asterisk have additional equipment. In addition (2) mobile units (Classroom on Wheels) are available in the William Gaston Science Building. The Classroom on Wheels includes a wireless access point, laptop computer and portable projector.
Laptops and projectors are available for short term loan from the Library. If none are available from the Library, please check with IT.
Request for configuration changes of a Multi-Media classroom
A request for changes in the configuration of a multi-media classroom, including software installation, should be directed to the Academic Computing Subcommittee. The Academic Computing Subcommittee is designed with a cross section of individuals that are elected by each division.
Report a problem in a Multi-Media classroom
Any hardware problems encountered in a multi-media classroom should be reported directly to IT. IT performs regular checks on the equipment in these rooms.
