Students can’t see my course on Canvas.

Check to see if course is published.

Open up the course. The upper right hand side of your screen will show the Course Status. If there is green with a a check box around Published then students will be able to see the course. If not, simply click on Published.

I cannot see my course on the Canvas Dashboard.

Is the course published?

Log into Canvas. On the left hand side of the screen, click on Courses then ALL COURSES from popup. A list of courses appears. Right most column is Published.

If the course is published and you cannot see it on your dashboard, just click on the empty star to the left of the course name. That will allow it to be seen on your dashboard.
