Belmont Abbey College Information Technology (IT) has partnered with ScholarBuys for your personal purchases. As members of the North Carolina Independent Colleges and University consortium, we participate in volume licensing programs and are able to extend those discounts to you. Belmont Abbey College has both a Microsoft and Adobe agreement. Microsoft Student Select products are available via electronic secure download.

- Go to Brands, select either “ Microsoft Student Select” or ”Adobe Discount Program”

- Agree to End User License Agreement (EULA)
You will be required to submit proof of enrollment to ScholarBuys. Upon completion of your order, you will receive instructions regarding how to upload your proof. Examples include: a copy of your tuition payment, acceptance letter, or class schedule. ScholarBuys also partners with the National Student Clearinghouse to verify student status electronically in real time.

The Respondus LockDown Browser can be installed on personally owned computers and is installed on lab and library computers.

System Requirements
The Respondus LockDown Browser can be installed on computers with the Windows operating system 10 and 11, Macs with OS 10.13 to 13.0+, iPads, and Chromebooks.
Status Error in macOS devices
If you get an error that says CERT_STATUS_AUTHORITY_INVALID on your macOS device, you need to upgrade your operating system.
